Race 7 - Orchid Island 3/1
Was waiting for her to come out but slightly surprising she's being upped in trip already on just her 3rd start. One of the most impressive maiden wins of the current season thus far and seems like a classic filly. Caution advised as she definitely won't be wound up for a MR 81 handicap in the middle of December but at 3/1 I was enticed to have a small bet. Let's see how she goes - not the worst of fields - some hard knockers like Estimation etc won't be pushovers.

Hi Guys,
Vaal Inner:
Best Bets
Race 1: Flying Russian(1) 28-10 (Formline behind Grasshopper has been good, ran a cracker last run. BIG BIG RUNNER!!!!!!)
Race 3: Spring Indeed(1) 3-1 (2nd run after rest a problem? Ran a cracker last behind Iridium Silver which had ONE OF A KIND back in 2nd. MASSIVE RUNNER!!!!!!!!)
Race 4: One Of A Kind(12) 22-10 (Improving sort which will appreciate the extra, beat END GAME first run so will beat her again)
Race 5: Tern Unstoned(4) 13-10 (Good price for this weak field, YOUR BANKER)
Race 9: Misty Roller(6) 22-10 (Look at his last run in strong field, weak field now so will WIN!!!!!!)
Value Bets
Race 6: Royal Honour(7) 11-2 (Been running on well over this distance, been beaten by TALBEC last time they ran by .25L I think 11-2 is great value. WATCH!!!!!)
Race 7: Parisienne Chic(
15-1 (Back to best distance, has the beating of ANGELIC APPEAL on their last run together 3kgs better off for a 1.25 beating. Favourite ORCHID ISLAND has just won maiden so could be anything but straight in a MR81, TOUGH!!)
Race 8: Russian Friend(3) 15-1 (Guys take this price, this is my best value bet of the week, i really think she will win with MUNGER up. Ran 2nd to BANKING APRIL 3 runs back over a distance too short. BANKING APRIL is running in a MR81 in race 7. MASSIVE RUNNER!!!!!!)

Challenging midweek card as per usual .......thoughts:
R1: Flying Russian looks the right one, but the form of the Azzie runners this past weekend must cast some doubts .... Milne finished less than half a length behind FR last time so looks much better each way value at around 8's; Western Warrior the other obvious danger - out of Silvano mare, so should prefer this trip and further still ... not a race to get too excited about
R2: As per the betting, 3 runners stand out, both Crazy Vision and Cheat the Cheaters come out of strong form lines and should fight this out from Torre Del Oro, whose form line does not appear that strong - can't really find anything else - maybe The Falls Road for 4th
R3: September Bloom overdue to win and should get it right today in a field where the competition seems to be on the thin side; Spring Indeed beaten by Iridium Silver last time (who did improve a lot with blinkers) in what looked a poorish field; she is a lightly raced 4yr old though, so should be showing further improvement; Miraflores actually beat SB in their penultimate runs over 1200, but SB should prefer the 1400, so hard for M to confirm the form imo - still should be considered for the placings along with Legend Seeker, who has shown some fair earlier form and needed her last start over shorter
R4: Not a lot between End Game and One of a Kind; these two do seem to hold their rivals, but maybe not that clear cut......Glowing Vision only just more than a length behind One of a Kind behind Iridium Silver (so check Spring Indeed's performance in the previous race); Sweet Chestnut holds Prada Princess on their last run behind Cosmo Russe (who failed to frank the form next time); the real value imo looks to be Roaring Forties, who on an indirect form line finished closer to Rouge Allure than both EG and OoaK
R5: Bottom of the barrel stuff.....Tern Unstoned holds the field and probably a worthy favorite, but not fancied in any of his runs yet, so much too short in the betting imo; less than a length between him and Miesque's Rumba on line through Artificio, so I'll be including that one just in case he improves more over this trip.
R6: Talbec overdue to win, but not a lot between him and Royal Honour, while Skynight raced wide last time, so should also finish closer to T today; Stebbins is rapidly dropping down in MR and surely can't be discounted here - he ran 2 lengths behind Abashiri in the Derby at level weights and 2.4 lengths behind Enaad (giving him 3 kg's) in the Gold Vase; other dangers imo include Dawn Assault and Ilitshe (big MR drop) who both try the trip
R7: Very competitive fillies and mares handicap; Orchid Island has been given what looks a tough task by the handicapper, but she could be up to it; Cidada is a year older than OI, but will be receiving 2.5 kgs from that one (so that alone shows that OI has a tough task here); Banking April is in hot form and no reason why she should not challenge again; can't really find anything to put a line through .... even Parisienne Chic and AP's Lily at long odds look well in here .....
R8: Another fillies and mares handicap.... maybe slightly less competitive than the previous one ..... the scratching Dahlia's Arrow would have held many at these weights, so on that run behind Seal My Fate, Cool Fantasy must have a chance - other obvious contenders include Turn Back Time, Consequentially, Barcelona Babe and Bird Alley
R9: Another tough one to close; not sure about the 3yr old form, but obviously Misty Roller can't be ignored; many older horses to consider though...... of the longer priced runners, I'll definitely be including My Treasure (all 3 wins at this track) and Secret Lover, who looks reasonably well in here compared to others
A P6 for the desperate .....if my sums are correct R195 will get you 5%...

Angelic Appeal - just under 2 lengths behind Gr I contender NEGROMARO... was giving that horse 2kg but should have received 7.5kg if it was a handicap. Has won this C/d beating COBY. Has recorded all three wins at this track... HW have her 25/2. ESTIMATION is a real danger, has run against way stronger. The outsider for quartets is SEAL MY FATE who, with only 52.5kg , can earn stakes money.
