I have Pearl Emblem running in the 7th race. Given her a mini break after a tough campaign. She is currently leading the KZN Summer Challenge. She is well and should run a good race. At 16/1, an each way bet is on the cards for me. Will be happy with a place run today.

Cheers

Did De Melo think he had the race won?The horse was responding to the stick and then didn't use it the last 50m.Even the commentator was saying the stick was above the horses ears.

That ride by de Melo was strange....it was obvious from the 1st race that the going was perfect on the outside........so he comes off the turn 2 wide and then heads to the inside, got the horse unbalanced so had to put away the stick, and got caught!
No conspiracy ....just think he's not too bright!
