Done some doubles and a treble with these 3 @ Fairview today-

R4 Oli Miranda 5/2. Does loose ground at the start, but over the extra 200m, I think will be hard to beat.

R7 Shadow of his Smile 8/1. Yes, 2nd run after rest, but still taking a chance. Think its capable of taking this.

R8 Captain Nemo 2/1. Race at its own mercy imo.

DORRIE SHAM
Race 1 – BACKSLASH (1), LAWDY MISS CLAWDY (6), MARIZA (8), SMACKAROO (11) and TWIST OF SILVA (13): All these fillies have come to hand rather quickly and if they are not too green, I am hoping for good showings from them. If any of them earn it will be a bonus!

SHARON KOTZEN
Race 1 – BREEZY (2): Shows lots of pace but my opposition is unknown – if not running too green, I expect a good run.

Race 1 – NIMBLE (9): Shows lots of pace but my opposition is unknown – if not running too green, I expect a good run.

GAVIN SMITH
Race 1 – BRENDA (3): A small but quick filly.

Race 1 – CLOSE TO MY HEART (4): A precocious filly.Horse Racing

Race 2 – DEEP SEEKER (6): Will be scratched.

ALAN GREEFF
Could not be contacted for any of his comments.

YVETTE BREMNER
Race 1 – PURE FICTION (10): A nice filly that does everything right. I am hoping for a good run.

RENATE DU PLESSIS
Race 1 – TOTALLY CORAGEOUS (12): A precocious filly and I am hoping for a good run.

I see that according to Graeme Hawkins,we are going to have another go at "fixing" our MR's(mainly to please the Asian conference delegates!) and I could go on for hours about that but suffice to say that today we have PEPE LE PEW, a 3yr old gelding (only been 3 for 6 weeks in reality) that is already running off 17 llbs less than its "innate ability".
FFS who in their right mind thinks a 3 yr old's ability can change that much in 3 months
Probably not for today(but not impossible) but make a note for soon in a handicap)

I'm sure that eventually we will discuss on a dedicated thread but this is indicative that our system is completely broken so to suggest (as on winning ways )that the solution is just to add 10 points to all our horses,is too sad to be laughable!
