"Group" RESULTS - 'Afternoon' Friday 6th June Workings..

Afternoon,

This afternoon completed and went as follows..

The 1st runner we wanted 2.7 and with being around 2.88 on arrival and only getting bigger, we never see our lay price at any stage at all, so a race to avoid for all. The runner was beaten and so 'one that got away in hindsight'........

The 2nd runner we wanted 3.1, but a non runner and 2.9% reduction meant we now wanted a lay price of 3.04 (3.05 nearest exchange price). The price was 2.78 on arrival and so we had a lay at 2.78. The price then drifted out to our own price of 3.35 (was 3.4 before reductions) and so builders and traders had a 'free' lay. The lay/trade went and got up on the line after the eventual second drifted across the track!, so frustrating but the way it goes and glad of the 'free' bet now......

The 3rd runner we wanted 2.7 and with being around 2.96 on arrival and although the price dropped it never came down to our lay price at any stage, so a race to avoid for all. The runner went and won, so good discipline and a good leave.....

The 4th runner we wanted 3.1 and with drifting to around 3.15 on arrival and then dropping down to us and slightly beyond, we had a lay at 3.1 max. The lay was beaten and so a good result....

The 5th runner we wanted 2.1 and with being around 2.48 on arrival and not coming down to us at any stage, we all had to avoid the race. The runner was beaten and so 'one that got away in hindsight'.....

The 6th runner we wanted 1.7, but a non runner and 16.7% reduction meant we now wanted a lay price of 1.58. There was then another non runner and further 4.5% reduction, so now we wanted a lay price of 1.55. The price had drifted to around 1.67 on arrival and dropped down to us and slightly beyond right near the off, so we had a lay at 1.55 max. The lay went and won, so the way it goes.......

The 7th and final runner we wanted 3.0 and with getting around 2.74 on arrival, we had a lay at around 2.74. The lay went and won, so the way it goes....

WELL BATTLED..................(2 from the first 3 (66.66%) went and won - and 4 from the 7 (57%) in total went and won, so a tough afternoon and a case of limiting the loss which we did OK)

'Rolling' strategy/target players no 'free' lays for them) Had to concede 2.1 targets..........They started their 1st strategy/target on the 2nd runner and after a battle they went to their 4th and final lay (the 7th runner) to break level, but a poor result see them concede 2.1 targets on the session...

'Bank building' strategy/target players started with a 'free' lay (the 2nd runner) that only bought relief.......They then had their 1st lay (the 4th runner) at 3.1 max and a good result see them win a chunk of their targets.........They then had their 2nd lay (the 6th runner) at 1.55 max, but a poor result see them give a little back and with 5 runner builders around levels and only one potential lay left, they end here and win 0.04 of a target.........

4 runner builders played on and went to their 3rd lay (the 7th and final runner) at 2.74, but a poor result see them concede 1.25 targets on the session...

Bank builder 4 runner strategy/target. £400 bank. Max 25% target £100

'Free' lay bought no free profit, only relief.

Total bank remains £400

1st lay £100 to win as much of the £100 target @ 3.1 max. Result positive. Win £47

Total bank now £447

2nd lay £149 to win the remaining £53 @ 1.55 max. Result negative. Lose £29

Total bank now £418

3rd lay £209 to win the remaining £82 @ 2.74. Result negative. Lose £142

Total bank now £276

Overall result. Concede 1.25 targets.

***************************************

Bank builder 5 runner strategy/target. £400 bank. Max 25% target £100

'Free' lay bought no free profit, only relief.

Total bank remains £400

1st lay £80 to win as much of the £100 target @ 3.1 max. Result positive. Win £38

Total bank now £438

2nd lay £109 to win the remaining £62 @ 1.55 max. Result negative. Lose £34

Total bank now £404

So with being around level and only one potential lay left and no room at all for error, they end it here.

Overall result. Win 0.04 of a target.

Traders had to concede a little on the 6th runner at 1.55 max, and the 7th runner at 1.74, so not a good day for them, but very tough and they concede a little bit this afternoon...

So a very tough session with winners and drifters and all we could do is battle through. We did the best we could, but couldn't avoid a small loss, so we go into this evening looking to recoup. Speak soon with this evening's workings...

Morning,

The races, runners and prices to work around for this afternoon as follows...

1.50 Catterick. GO NANI GO (2.88)

Our price 2/1 (3.0) and so no bets can be advised at current odds. If we see 2.7 or under we'll go in for a lay. *Traders be aware, that although lightly raced, he shown enough speed to suggest he can race prominently in context with this race today - Also please note that a 'little' more emphasis has gone on the early markets for clues, concerning this race*

2.00 Wolverhampton. OGRE (3.3)

Our price 12/5 (3.4) and so no bets can be advised at current odds. If we see 3.1 or under we'll go in for a lay.

2.25 Catterick. BIJOU DAN (3.2)

Our price 2/1 (3.0) and so no bets can be advised at current odds. If we see 2.7 or under we'll go in for a lay.

3.10 Wolverhampton. MYSTICKHILL (3.5)

Our price 12/5 (3.4) and so no bets can be advised at current odds. If we see 3.1 or under we'll go in for a lay. *Traders be aware, that although she can race a few ways, it wouldn't be any surprise to see a prominent display this afternoon*

3.25 Epsom. GETAWAY (2.28)

Our price 7/5 (2.4) and so no bets can be advised at current odds. If we see 2.1 or under we'll go in for a lay.

4.15 Catterick. ART TREND (1.97)

Our price Evens (2.0) and so no bets can be advised at current odds. If we see 1.7 or under we'll go in for a lay. *Traders be aware, that although lightly raced, he has shown a tendency to lead or race very prominently - Also please note that a 'little' more emphasis has gone on the early markets for clues, concerning this race*

4.50 Epsom. IGUAZU FALLS (2.82)

Our price 23/10 (3.3) and so a LAY is the call at current odds. We'd lay up to 3.0 or under.

All the races were priced up with non runners taken into account up until 09.35am.

That's our work for this afternoon then. Again it's looking a bit tricky and testing, but no reason to not go into battle with enough ammunition within our armoury, so discipline to the maximum and take advantage of any prices that come our way, as per normal. Good luck and speak soon with this evening's workings..
