If this competition has run it's course then HB should just scrap it. It is now shoddily maintained, haphazard and inconsistent updating....sometimes tote payout, sometimes bookies odds....

There is still uncleared results from Wednesday at Kenilworth, half of Fairview....

I cannot even find evidence of my winnings paid out for winning the daily competition....

Okay, kudoes to Hollywoodbets for quick response. All resolved, Hollybucks updated, winners sorted.

Thanks for the personal follow up HB ..... but just a small word of advice... prevention always better than cure . {smile}

As you predicted, Hollybucks has ran its course. Discontinued immediately from November 2016. New competition to start in January 2017.

I too disappointed....use it to refine my selection process. Ended with a 29.8% strike rate.

well hollywoodbets did mention on a "new exciting competition" in 2017,

which is something to look forward to and i think their hollybucks competition
was something what we punters appreciated, i would'nt want to win without
spending a cent, so i thank hollywood and look forward to the new comp come 2017.

Bump the fact they used to give away R100 a day...

And now they are giving away R10 000 on race days and R20 000 on Feature days?

Not complaining, but imo if it was not for the open bet Hollywood and others would not be as big as they are today. The open bet enabled the bookies to catapult from giving away R100 a day to now being a major sponsor of local racing. They deserve all credit due as they know how to treat a majority of their customers.

take a walk into any bookmaker and the Racing section is tiny - maybe 2 tellers- Soccer and numbers go out the door - I doubt racing in any form is the major earner for any bookie for years and years
