I am sure most on ABC would have had a profitable day.
i won £100 on Wind Singer then lost then won at Cheltenham taking me to around £140 then lost then won on Arctic Feeling taking me to around £240 then lost then lost then lost then lost then stopped so yes i had a profitable day. £7 exactly.

C&C
I give up with football at the moment. Last week I lost 3k on Real and they lose 2-0.

When you start punting big on football then the enjoyment goes out of the window. I would never stick on more than £10 on a match, now and again I may do 20

Why go to the front, last time out was caught when in the front. Why take the horse from the inside to the outside. The horse ran out of puff as was pushed to hard to begin with. Just my observation and obviously speaking from my now empty pocket
Just watched the race now and my take isn't the same.
The poly seldom sees horses leading on the turn win sticking to the inside!
You can only do that (sticking to the inside) if you know you have plenty in the tank and yours is a resolute galloper. If not you have to go to the better going and hope for the pack to find traffic
I did not see Buster Brown go down to the start yesterday but I'm sure his action to post suggested that he will show pace from the onset. To my eyes the horse was travelling too freely (doubt my wording is correct) in the race
There should be many reasons for that of which I know none but if I had to guess it would be a combination of a few
Its possible that
he has been given too much of speed work
his temperament
the horse isn't happy
I also recall Anton Marcus remarking on Buster Browns short run in
If the horse is determined to race from the onset it would be foolish to try restraining him

imin, go and watch Buster Brown's last 12/15 runs. He has to be tucked in otherwise pulls to hard. That's it. Unhappy/too much speed work/temperament?????????????????? Would he be as consistent as he has been if anyone of those statements was half true? :S

But surely you instructed Alec to do so
What did he say after the race

Completely against instructions. Said he jumped too well and nothing came around him to give him cover so he could relax. Once there he started to pull and over raced for the majority of the race. Has to be switched off behind another horse and then runs on very well.

Apologies Craig. In an instance like this, would you have any qualms with the jockey as there was nothing he could do. Would you still use him in the future.
