We are in town until Tuesday next week and I am going racing on Saturday...let me know if any of you guys are planning a trip to go!

It will be wine/stud farms in the morning, racing in the afternoon!

Can't find a thread, so hopefully this doesn't clash.

Think Beach Goddess in the 4th should win.

Played a double with Chrome Blue in the 6th

I think Star Academy a big runner there ........ My Cape Patent is Swinging Captain x Money Surger x Star Academy.

My main bet for the day is maximum double Just Frisky x Swinging Captain.

Play well !!

I am taking my lady to Boschendal for lunch this early afternoon...... and we a bit far from Kenilworth otherwise I would have made a plan to stop by for a beer.... and to punt Swinging Captain. :woohoo:

Miranda Frost impressed me on debut and won easier than suggested. Ramsden not known for getting them ready first time out. Fillies can be more forward at two sometimes. I took some of the 3/1 last night.

Hot sunny day with no wind in CT.
Race 1: the fillies and colts races were combined due to insufficient entries. Le Harve was impressive on debut, and looks the best of the raced colts. His price is a bit skinny, as there are some classy fillies to whom he must give weight. Miranda Frost is my first choice- I agree with MomF comments- she looked very soft and underdone on debut, yet beat a smart sort with the 3rd far behind. She should make huge improvement. Felicity Flyer has good form, and should go close. The unraced horses will need to be very good to make the frame. Selection: 5/2/4
Race 2: moderate maiden. Sharp Peg, Sandton Rocker and Kwando should be enough for PA and bipot.
Race 3: An interesting maiden. I fancy Warren Place and Fort Infinity to upset the obvious contenders Swinging Captain and Due West.
