Gold Circle’s Chief Financial Officer, Donovan Moses, will be leaving the Company at the end of March to pursue personal interests. As an interim measure Gold Circle has recalled Moses’ predecessor Stuart Gardner to assist until such time as a new permanent appointment is made.

There has also been movement at the executive level within the Company. Graeme Hawkins will continue as the Marketing Executive but Raf Sheik has taken over as the new Racing Executive of Gold Circle with immediate effect. His position as head of the National Racing Bureau will be taken over by Aveen Sewpersad.

Veronica Jack takes over the reins as Corporate Services Executive and Hazel Kayiya will head the media / communications division.

Gold Circle CEO Michel Nairac commented, “Gold Circle is conscious of the need to transform the profile of the Company. We are blessed with talent in many areas and I am confident that the team, under the expert guidance of recently appointed Chairperson Phumla Mnganga, will successfully meet the challenges that lie ahead.”

AJ Rivalland is the trainer representative on the Racing Commitee and is not listed as being remunerated according to the books.

Only PV Lafferty who is on the Board

Rivalland definitely earns a salary

HOW long has he held this position and why is it not on rotation?

Tony runs the Summerveld training establishment. Absolutely passionate about the place. Does a very good job. Of course he must be paid.

Why is it not on a rotation basis Craig?

Surely this position should have a 24 month max term and then offered to other trainers......
