R2 Ayr Farewelltocheyenne E/W. Am posting this tonight as the price will soon disappear. Apart from the odds on favourite, Oldgrangewood (around 1/4), who will probably win, this is a terrible race with most of the runners having shown little or nothing. The selection is an exception to that, having won a bumper (easily) in Ireland in 2014. He has shown very little in two runs over hurdles in Britain, but travelled very strongly until three out over a longer trip here last time despite making several mistakes (was eased once his chance had gone). The shorter trip and drying ground are in his favour and, if he jumps better, he can sneak into the frame here. That bumper win is the second best piece of form in this weak race and 66/1 with William Hill is ridiculous - and won't last!
