With Baritone winning. It means stax to me. I have now made some Tom. Not a lot though bcos I was on a hiding to nothing all through the day.

What a team

just home from a lovely day at the Big T - enjoyed it a lot more than last year when I went down to Slaapstad - great food, nice vibe in the Centenary.

Accolades to the Snaiths - yes he had everything but the stable cat running, but to have 8 winners from 12 tries is surely a record that won't be broken for .... well let's just say not in my lifetime

A bit baffled by the Met result ..... did not think the filly was that good, but on that effort one has to say she was probably still underrated .......very disappointing run by Futura, but the warning signs were there after the QP...........Legislate imo the wrong tactics to go to the front........and Legal Eagle raced too handy as well..........but on the whole probably not that hard to predict..........hard to believe though that both the Snaith hotties could not find the first 4 :ohmy:

Mixed day result wise, the 2 that really stood out (Star Express and Baritone) duly won, but some of the other fancied runners disappointed .....that's racing, I suppose..........for me, along with Futura, the other disappointing run on the day was that of Pine Princess.....she ran 2 lengths off the Met Winner not too long ago (giving her weight) .......indifferent ride I thought, but maybe she just does not stay that far

Watched replays and read stipes reports.
Definitely suddenly dropped a few lengths at 700m mark and Winner who caused the issue returned cut hind so guessing the contact was made there. BB only got going late again and was clearly making ground up so agree would have made the difference. Hopefully both not any major injuries as I see BB nominated for the 9th.
