Al Azrak to smash them. Shows plenty speed and very gutsy horse. Loves the course I I've put a line through the tripster run even though he came second due to a shoe needing to be put on at the start. The other 3 runs are top class to finish behind bull valley and smash buckland by 8 lengths. If he runs to ability it's no contest and can't see 2/1 lasting.

All different I guess... most "interesting" card anywhere for a while imo, big competitive fields with plenty options offering some potential value. Could easily be a "blank" day but, on the other hand, it could prove to be very profitable if the luck is with you. Only card I've really looked at this week.

So most are playing their cards close to their chests - so I' start the ball rolling (my week for clichés):

In the first Le Clos overdue to win - odds-on probably justified

In the 4th I think Blazing Brave is the right one at the weights - most of the others in with chances if he fails - so for me I'm banking him in my 1% P6

In the 8th, Save the Day ran to much higher than her current MR in her last race - but that was over 1000, so not sure if she can repeat that - but given the challenging card, I will side with her as well

The 9th looks a 2 horse race between Candy Rock and Samorai Blade - for the rest it looks competitive to me - Al Azraq was scratched last time he was supposed to run - not sure what the problem was, but he will need to be at his best to beat Anjaal and Imperial Gold, while even Amazing Strike can feature if the Cornell Collar helps

Enjoy B)

Well said Englander! Best advice here is probably watch the first couple, see which side of the track has an advantage and which stables running well. I think considering we've had little to no rain the going would probably be good, perhaps a little like the N1, watch for horses sweating up, the temps are scorching today. Lot's of factors to consider and a very very competitive card makes today extremely tough to turn a profit, exotics probably the correct call, small percentages no bankers!!

Best of luck to all today, you gonna need it!

If Seventh Pillar jumps on terms and dictates the pace he could beat the favorite.

Vaal race 5, Graduation: #5 IMPERIAL GOLD; although he still has to earn those stripes he has been running in some very classy races (he must be highly thought of by his stable); has the best weight advantage on MR's; lightly raced; runs fresh and has been gelded; 9/2 is on offer.

Prosperous punting B)
