R3 Uttoxeter Board Of Trade. I don't often put up one as short as this, but this is a very promising bumper horse (two from two) making his hurdling debut. Certain to have been well schooled and will take a world of beating here if jumping competently. Only has A Little Magic (possibly flattered last time) to beat. Odds against is a very good price for the selection (think he will be odds on come post time).

R3 Brighton Duck A L'Orange. This looks between the selection and Albe Back. The latter arguably has the best form, but is becoming disappointing and is certainly not progressing, whereas the selection improved markedly from his first run to his second (finished third despite being hampered) and looks capable of better still (has group-race entries). Is by far the likeliest winner of this and 6/4 is a fair enough price.

Board Of Trade a late withdrawal - ground too quick probably :(

R2 Chelmsford Wimpole Hall. Was a bit below par at Epsom last time, but the track and step up to seven furlongs may not have suited him. His previous two efforts at Newmarket set a very good standard here and the Godolphin newcomer Elltaaf will need to be well above average to beat him on her debut. 11/4 for Wimpole Hall is a nice price.

Maybe it was the surface, Bob, but he didn't look to be putting it all in.
