Interbet Loyalty points Big Surprise
9 years 8 months ago
Phoned Interbet today about something so lady said she just want to remind me to redeem my loyalty points before it lapses
So I asked here if she can do it she said no problem.
Never knew they had a loyalty program.
Thought it will only be like R100-200, I am not a big believer in Loyalty programs as most rewards are paltry so big was my surprise when I got R2400!!!
Man that was quit a big surprise so I duly placed some of that on Samurai Blade won a further R1000
So make sure to redeem your loyalty points give Interbet a call you might be surprised

Don't think you had 24000 . If you redeemed R2400.00 it would have been more like 240000 points. I redeemed 47 000 and I got R47.00 Thank you Interbet.

I have bet on Interbet for quite awhile but there are a number of subtleties to betting on that site which I was not really aware of until Gary & Barry kindly explained them to me & which could make quite a difference as to how you choose to bet when using their site;
The site is basically divided into two separate and distinct betting options ;
1.) The 'exchange' where you can normally get a small stretch BUT SUBJECT TO AVAILABILTY
2.) Quickbet where you can get up to R10,000 of any event on demand. Usually, but not always, these odds (as they are the standard odds on any event) are fractionally lower than those offered on the exchange.
The sweetner on Quickbet is threefold (and I didn't know this until Interbet clarified it to me!) and often makes this option competitive with the 'exchange'.
a.) You qualify for loyalty points which you can convert into cash for additional bets.
b.) On sports bets there is no tax OR exchange commission on winning bets (currently 3% + VAT) whereas on the exchange the aforementioned fee is levied for a sports bet. In both instances no 6% betting tax is levied as it would be for horse racing activities.
c.) On multiples you get an added bonus (depending on the number of legs) which should largely compensate you for the (sometimes) lower odds offered. BTW - the bonus is an additional 7,5% added to the bet struck for doubles and 10% for trebles or bigger multiples. Quite significant!
Apologies if this sounds like a marketing exercise bit it does offer a significant opportunity to us punters under certain conditions!
I hope you all find this information useful and I am sure Interbet will correct this post if I have misquoted them.
