With still along way to go, would this be the 1st time the host nation doesn't make it into the knockout stages?

Some guys just have such bad luck in sport and he is definitely one of them. That looks like that as far as international rugby is concerned for him now. :(

How pathetic are the Aussies back slapping eac other for preventing a team made up of students and normal workers playing as amateurs from scoring a try. That Aussie number 7 really thinks that he is the enforcer, what a nob

South Africa captain Jean de Villiers has announced that his 13-year international rugby career has come to an end after he was ruled out of the rest of the tournament with a broken jaw sustained in Saturday's victory over Samoa.

The Springbok centre played 109 times for his country at senior level and three years ago became the 54th Springbok captain.
