Well done to Scotland

this SA team is brilliant, but as we know the coach has dragged them down. He and a few of his Blou Bulle maatjies should be pushed onto tonights flight to SA. Any other coach would have this team playing to their full potential. Selection, selection, selection he cant even get that right so what chance have they got, I ask you with tears in my eyes.

Australia v Fiji, this should be a close first half with not much in it by half time but then the Fijians will run out of puff as its difficult to play two huge internationals in the space of 5 days. Australia have not lost to Fiji in 61 years so don't expect a shock here.

Can see Fourie du Preez and Duane Vermuelen getting injured again...they have not started a match in months and they get put into the most physical match SA are likely to face in group stage...

As absurd as it may sound, Rudy Paige should have started as the fitter of the scrumhalves (no place in matchday squad for Ruan Pienaar as he has been poor) with Fourie du Preez on the bench to come on after 50 / 60 minutes...
And Siya Kolisi could have started at flank with Schalk Burger moving to eightman with Duane coming off the bench...

Just a suggestion...

Its a team selection out of desperation tnaicker. Meyer knows that his time is up and he is now just throwing all of his cards in the air and hoping that they land on the right side. But unfortunately for him and the long suffering Bok fans sport just does not work like that. He may get lucky and the Boks turn in a blinding performance on Saturday but then they still have Scotland to contend with and on todays showing the Scots wont be a walkover.

As Burger has been playing out of his normal position you must give him another chance now that he is back at flank and him and Vermeulen do play well together and understand each other. As for Matfield wow how must that youngster feel after playing a pretty good match on Saturday including scoring a try. Meyer will never drop Matfield.

I'll take France -37...they will throw the ball around before the serious matches start and a more structured approach is required...especially match against Ireland...
