Race 1=IMPERIAL PARTY is the horse in the race that knows the Sand and runs on.8 & 16 found betting support first time out


Race 2=PRECURSOR looks well and here is the comment[ MURRAY:MY BEST RIDE] danger 1


Race 3=FLAME CAT 3rd run after rest should do very well and will like this trip STRIKER aboard DANGER USISI & MISS DECEMBER


Race 4=FIRST SIGN Juan-Paul best ride of the day he will make it count BIG DANGER 2


Race 5=TORO ROSSO horse is full of class top jockey aboard looks to make amends today will be hard to beat if DELPECH gives a patient ride DANGER JULIE DOOLITTLE



Race 6=BATTLE IN SEATTLE top draw great jockey will have a great run BIG danger DISCO BOY is my value bet DISCO BOY is much better then recent runs and if he jumps has some nice E/W value


Race 7=SHE'S A LOOKER is a great looking girl and has form to beat this field and will love the distance great place value DANGER 1,3,5


Race 8=RED SAVAGE this could be a MIKE de KOCK double as DELPECH gets aboard and gets a great draw wont be far off danger ARABIAN BAY

Marwing has one runner today, Sparticus in the last race absolutely no form to recommend but tries the sand and blinkers for the first time, now 33-1 from 66-1 according to HW.

Caution for sand racing you can have alot of form reversals which dont favour us!!!!

But i like a few nice priced horses:

Race 2 Isphan(3) BIG RUNNER danger will be Precurser

Race 3 Miss December(6) BEST BET OF THE DAY 28-10 will win hands down Exactas with Seventh Symphony

Race 4 Racing Red(10) will improve 7-2 good value weak field

Race 5 Toro Rosso(5) BIG RUNNER!!!! 1-1 exactas with American Tiger and Stavinski

Race 6 Battle In Seattle will win hands down if takes to the sand exactas with Limbo

Race 7 She's A Looker(6) will be hard to beat if takes to the sand worry is the draw too

Race8 Red Savage(2) cant beat this horse RACE OVER take the 11-10

Malcom Dixon's ratings make interesting reading for the 2nd. Most will be surprised there is no mention of Doing it for Dan..........this may be why:
Doing it for Dan was beaten the equivalent of 10 lengths ,by Isphan ,on its last sand run(running to about 76),yet has had its sand rating raised to 101 ,based on turf form??????
Sand and Turf ratings are separate EXCEPT at the handicappers discretion(what a crap word in racing)
Is it discretion that says it won't apply to horses trained by Louis Goosen (memories of Trip Tease)
If Doing it for Dan happens to win today ,it will be regarded as justification..... but getting to the right answer the wrong way does not make the wrong way, correct!!!!!

(at least closing the sand track will stop this nonsense..............surely they wont mix and match turf with Flamingo)
