Guess we hoping this meeting goes ahead. If so, i fancy the following in order of preference :-

R9 - Petty Officer (9/2), despite the wide draw and being a filly, still believe she will give the boys a run, especially with the apprentice allowance.

R2 - Solar Night (16/10), true one can never be 100% certain when backing juveniles, however if repeating he's last run, which was against open company, then Solar Night will go close. Obviously keep an eye out for a market springer or two.

R3 - Kwando (7/2), just as the race 2 selection, Kwando has had two runs in open company, and got markedly closer with each run. Whilst the collateral form behind the last run is not flash, the horse does appear to be coming along the right way.

Last but not least, R7 - Evoke Emotion (8/1), similarly like Petty Officer, i feel with an apprentice allowance, this horse becomes a runner.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

You mean we have more than one track in SA - so the powers that be must be slacking off - so much more profit to be had just bringing in the pictures from those other racing mecca's .... e.g Ngong :silly:
