I like the Ger Lyons stable, very very decent operation imo

They have one runner tonight at Dundalk, on paper they have a bit to do with a couple in the race, but reading the trainers facebook hes actually quietly confident

He says

"We are back up at Dundalk tonight with one runner but it's in the nights big race the Patton Stakes (Listed race).
Convergence is a grand tough little colt who won his listed race last season in Tipperary beating a hotpot from Ballydoyle. What he lacks in scope he makes up for in heart as he loves a battle. On ratings he comes out third best tonight and I do expect there to be a couple too good for him here but he's fit and well and ready to start his season.
The draw has been kind to him and he has made his own running in the past so we won't be afraid to go on and use our draw to our best advantage.

I expect a good honest run but we may be run out of it late on for pace. I've always thought we'd be stepping him up in trip this year so this race will tell us a lot.
HGD"

7/1 each way might be an eway bet to nothing?

At Chelmsford Sail Home has been in very decent form and has a winning chance again, gets on well with the rider and is only raised 2lb for the last win... quite a confident selection

Dead as a morgue is this thread, so I am hoping that Reflation gets to win the opener at Kempton to liven it up if anybody bothers to read it.

R2 Kempton Jasmine Blue E/W. Has plenty to find with Jazzi Top and Hundi on her one run so far, but she shaped with a great deal of promise despite being very green in what looked an above average Newmarket maiden. Is drawn in pole position tonight and the step up to a mile will definitely suit (likely to need further in time). I'm not saying that she will beat the top two in the market, but she looks streets ahead of everything else that has run and 8/1 represents very good E/W value.

Hannon 2 year olds have had a slow start so looking for June to have a good run. Trainer Palmer should never be discounted and he saddles Persiflage 33/1. So will be having each way on both June and Persiflage

R7 Dundalk Viaduct Joey E/W. Has been something of a revelation since turning his attention to flat racing at Dundalk and broke his maiden with a game win over two miles here last time. Travelled very strongly for most of the race that day suggesting that he should be able to handle today's drop in trip if he gets a strong enough pace to run at. That seems quite likely with Bomber Jackson and Settle For Red in the field and the selection should be able to get a good tow into the race before making his stamina count. Can make the frame in a competitive race at an appealing 10/1.
