Cheltenham Tuesday card

R4 The New One (Win or E/W). Might well have won this last year, but for being brought to a standstill by Our Conor's terrible fall at the third hurdle. Did very well to be a strong-finishing third under the circumstances. Unbeaten in five runs since and would have hated the bottomless ground when not particularly impressive at Haydock last time. Loves Cheltenham, tomorrow's ground should be perfect and is very much the one to beat. 4/1 is a huge price (should be much closer to Faugheen in the market).
R2 Clarcam E/W. Very consistent novice who jumps well, has a good attitude and should relish a fast run race on goodish ground. Can't beat Un De Sceaux on Leopardstown running last time, but that small field played to Un De Sceaux's strengths and it will be a very different race tomorrow. Clarcam represents good E/W at around 16/1.
R7 Knock House E/W. Has run very well on two of his three starts over fences (found three miles on soft ground too far when disappointing at Cheltenham on the second of those three runs, although ran better than his final finishing position suggests). Tomorrow's trip on good ground will be ideal and he can make the first four at around 16/1 in what is a very open race.

Race3
Barrakilla looks like he will enjoy the step up to 3miles.
I'm playing ew,5 places on offer.
Race7
Keltus is my ew bet of the day.
Low weight, top trainer and bundles of improvement to come.
Both are around 12/1.

Annie Power should win but i like a bit of Caroles Spirit ew, first time blinkers might sharpen her up over the shorter trip and she will be up there 20/1 ew big price imo.

UN De Shaux loves to bowl and could be a champion in the making but could set the race up for Vibrato Vatalto, VV is a bridle horse and a fast pace will suit ,any chinks and VV could out pace from the last

Opposing the favourites isn't a bad policy on a day like today, Bob. I'm not saying the likes of Douvan, Un De Sceaux, Faugheen and Annie Power won't win, but they're plenty short enough in the market and there's some great value to be had if you look beyond them.

L'AMI SERGE
JOSSES HILL
MENDIP EXPRESS
patent each way pointless trying to study as far as I am concerned as the meet throws up far too many shock results
