chicken n chips wrote: I lost £80 on the fall going for the 4 fold. Did not take doubles but did trebles but not enough to recoup the £80 so now Sego Success 5/1 big runner in the next. Just £20 on the nose and that will be that for the day

Chicken I stood to win £948 and could have cashed out for £500 before the race so feel for us both but that's the breaks, luckily took £550 on Cause of Causes and also place money on both Broadway Buffalo and The Right Job so I am just down on the day still hoping for the last Horizontal Speed, Killala Quay, Generous Ransom and Keltus could bring me even. Good luck on yours it's going to be a bumper if where not careful!

So the bookies are claiming, by their own estimates, they dodged a £50 million bullet when Annie Power tipped up at the last - somehow I don't think so. I think £15 million might be closer to the mark. Annie Power went off at 1/2. Believe me, if there had been £50 million riding on her, she would have been more like 1/4 - mind you, I'd struggle to believe a bookmaker if they told me what day it was.
