UK Flat season
10 years 3 months ago
Its after 1700 and the sun is still out and its the beginning of March. That can only mean one thing and that's that the best flat racing this world has ever had the privilege to witness is just a few weeks away. Time to buckle up boys as this season we are going to win some nice money. I would love to go to the New Years Test and the Met
The best jockeys, trainers and horses will soon be on show and its great that there will be no repeat of last years fiasco when you guys could not view any UK racing.

Gleneagles slashed for Guineas after big gamble
By Adrian Lewis 3:46PM 19 MAR 2015
GLENEAGLES has reportedly been the subject of a major gamble for the Qipco 2,000 Guineas with bookmakers reacting by slashing his price to as short as 4-1.
Trained by Aidan O'Brien, the son of Galileo was priced as big as 10-1 at the weekend, but significant support in recent days has seen the price plummet to less than half that.

The Irish champion trainer dominates the ante-post market for the first Classic of the year with Ol' Man River, Highland Reel and John F Kennedy other notable Ballydoyle entries that feature prominently in the market.
Despite having an extremely strong team entered in the race, the continued support for Gleneagles indicates that punters see him as O'Brien's leading hope for a race he has won six times.
Betfred spokesman Andrew Griffiths said: "Gleneagles has been solid for the Guineas all winter but market support has really cranked up a notch over the last 24 hours. Punters clearly have an inkling he could be Ballydoyle's number one hope."
David Williams of Ladbrokes said: "It's an interesting time of the year to be seeing support for a Ballydoyle Guineas contender. The price is in freefall across the betting industry and Gleneagles has emerged as the clear Guineas favourite in next to no time this week."
William Hill spokesman Jon Ivan-Duke added: "There is a good strong flow of money for Gleneagles, with a number of four-figure bets on the horse. It's the strongest move so far for any horse in any of the Classic markets."
Gleneagles had an extremely progressive first season on the racecourse despite finishing fourth on his debut at Leopardstown. After that he then went on to get his head in front on each of his five subsequent starts.
However, the year ended on a disappointing note when he was demoted to third in the Group 1 Qatar Prix Jean-Luc Lagardere at Longchamp for interference, although the second past the post, Full Mast, had finished half a length behind.
Second in the 2,000 Guineas market is the John Gosden-trained Faydhan who is as short as 8-1 in places, but can still be backed at as big as 10-1. Other notable fancies are Ballydoyle entries Ol' Man River and Highland Reel, who along with Richard Hannon's Ivawood sit just behind the second-favourite at a general 10-1.

Great stuff .
I find it contradictory when you guys in the UK say Ladbrokes won't lay u 2 bananas to 1 that they report heavy wagers on the classic races, who and how do they get on?

I sincerely hope that the Craig twins tune in as they will see not one, not two, not three but at least 10 world class jockeys riding their hearts out day in and day out (and not on odds on favourites) Come the end of May and they will be missing work just so that they can watch these true pros at work.

I hear from very good connection that FEYDHAN is extra special and GMHopkins for the Doncaster Lincoln.
