very strange that a trainer can moan like a screaming banshee about a ride , tell every tam and jimmy to watch the replay, then use the same jock again....

Cheyne and Yeni both look set for a good day today. Taking a Pick 6 today with just these two jockeys.

Agree with D-17, Serene Response looks very good value when you also consider his C&D win beating My Jelly Bean.

R1 far from convinced the fav merits such a short price, have rather done an e/w on Tiger Roar who though not a confident selection, improved lto, and though about 1.5l behind In Accordance and Arabian Approval that day, was drawn wide that day and the stable form has seemingly improved since.

R2 Back over the 1000 from the 1 box, Cheeky Question very much the one to beat for me. Rose Of Sienna, Trillium and Calico could mount challenges. Jacaranda Flower has been reported coughing last three outings and with some market support behind her here don't be shocked if there is a marked improvement.

R3 Munaaseb with no great confidence

R4 Plenty chances. Deepo if breaking well would be a big runner but too great a risk for me. Aspen Winter and Evening Rose much respected but, at the prices, I'll chance a small e/w on Take Off who had AW behind on the turf in the latter's penultimate run. Oola was a definite idiot before the big odds disappeared, beat Terrybelle (who can't be discounted) 6l at Scottsville. Tough draw though here so at the new price more of a "watch" for me.

R5 Another with a few in with a shout, I've sided with Sanfoneiro

R6 Typhoon Tess returned to some form lto and at the weights must be a runner here, gets 7.5kgs for a 1.25l defeat by Sexy And Free and the price is decent imo. That said, none would be a complete shock but I'll go with TT from the two Bremner runners.

R7 The 1 box has swung me in favour of Seattle Storm in another competitive affair. Soul Sacrifice and New Spring could go closest but again, plenty have a chance. R1 nibble on Raging Torrent on PE debut.

R8 Toughest of the lot imo. Given the prices I've chanced Gift Of Gold e/w but expect Howami, Sister Sybil, Little One to be right there and there are others who are likely to be competitive. Another where the big idiot price has sadly long gone but Judstone still perhaps worth a look around 20s from box 2.

Could be a tough day to show a profit but we live in hope! :)
