I still think Futura is the best horse in the race but there is some spirited support for the Woodruff horses now.
My order of preference.....
1) Futura
2) LTK
3) Tellina
4) Punta Arenas
5) Gold Onyx
Enjoy the race everyone!

Watch the replay, strydom drops the right side reign 300 out. Can't gather them and tossed it ..... Imo.

I may be high on crack but I see no other way for this to unfold.....Fayd'herbe has to commit and go to the front with Futura. There is ZERO pace in the race and in order to catch everyone out he should jump and go. They won't catch him I don't think.
Who will make the pace????

Louis The King looks absolutely superb, others that looked very nice were Power King, Gold Onyx and Futura also looked top notch - Tellina looks full of running!! Good luck gents!

I stood to win 500k on this colt in the July. I would have sold my favorite dog to put on him. Said he was the best colt in the country.....nothing has changed for me.
He is an absolute machine, loved him since the first time I saw him run.
All the best to the connections and a top ride by Bernie!

Futura - Queens Plate-Met double for the son of Dynasty. Not often done.

Was in the same boat in the July. Should have won that race by a few lengths. Showed his class today. Even a fit Legislate would not have come close. Was cursing Bernard half way down the straight as I thought he wasn't going to get a run but what a turn of foot.

Bass stable showed a preference to Paterfamilias, and said Helderberg was a no hope from that draw. O well, pity they didnt say he would go to the front.
