craig you cannot punish an owner because each trainer is allowed to have one horse in a race before another trainer can have 2 horses..thats whats happened in the 8th today

I get it you have a beef with the boys after they sold Clairwood but keep it tidy, or rather just ignore it and tip us a few winners. It will be much better for your sanity.
Another one who likes to hand it out but has a thin skin when criticised.
Your method of attacking Gold Circle at every opportunity has yielded what exactly? Why not do the mature thing and work through the channels? You may just be surprised at what can happen when a genuine question or concern is raised.

10 years 4 months agolike I said if you haven't got anything to contribute worthwhile to a thread rather stay out and go talk shit to your mates in the rooms..you don't know what you talking about and who you are dealing with and what and who I have dealt with..rather concern yourself with the buyer who spent 5mil on a horse instead of fcuking up this thread on a topic you clearly know nothing about after 40 years of 1 years experience in racing...Over the Air wrote:pirates wrote:ota rather stay out of a thread if you haven't got anything worthwhile to contribute..Over the Air wrote: Pirates this crusade you have against Gold Circle is getting boring. Like I said pirates you struggle to take criticism and respond with an attack. You are right I dont know what I am dealing with besides what I read on the forum. What I surmise is I am dealing with a bitter nobody who is or was a wannabe and ended up a nothing.
If I cannot comment on someone spending 5.2 million on a horse as his first purchase you can come and kiss my ass.

Pirates, I would be very disappointed if Gangnam style gave me 5kgs and from that draw beat Discourse. IMHO, Discourse is a better runner in the race than him. Once again, IMHO my 1st choice runner has more chance of winning than Mark's 2nd choice even though his merit rating (rightly or wrongly) is higher.

Re: gold circle continue to reward and prom mediocrity
10 years 4 months agocraig I hear what you are saying but like rob says there is a system in place and the system needs to be adhered to..and like I said its the owner of gangham style who is getting punished here...I also had a horse 2 years ago who got eliminated cos of his low mr and I know I would have beaten half the horses at the weights but I accepted the reasons for his elimination..to me its clear either you move the horse on to a centre who caters for these mr 50s or you retire them if races are not put on for them with less stakes but to ignore the official handicapers is like ignoring the law of the land and then going and making up your own rules is simply not on...I regular have owners and somne trainers contacting me for advice on their horses in training and their program of races and this message will not go down well with them that we are discussing hereCraig Eudey wrote: Pirates, I would be very disappointed if Gangnam style gave me 5kgs and from that draw beat Discourse. The very relevant point here is that the runners are owned and funded by the owner/s.
If this restriction was about more than one runner from the same ownership ,it might make some sense.
A trainer is merely an agent for each horse in the stable and it is totally illogical to restrict on the basis of "agency"
