Race 1 no - JP's Prince should be the right one. With the blinkers back on and from a good draw should be right there.
11/2 on interbet

If the last run never took too much out of him, Forest Digger should blow this field quite comfortably
Double with Saxony for me
Best of luck to all

No time to post replays but these are the foundation for me
FATSO place
SPECK OF LIGHT place strong
BORN FOR BALLET taking this as my bi pot /pa banker
SAXONY loved last run strong win chance
LORD BADGER - too short last outclassed Algoa - better today and E/W value
ARABICA - place

Hoping Dorrie has a chance to comment today as I think the Shams have a few decent chances.
R1 Play Boy is the interesting one for me. Has been gelded and not a bad effort on returning from a long break. He was well supported in his first couple of runs and I have a nag that tells me they liked this one but I might be wrong. The safer option may be another of their runners Thunder Fury with the interesting booking of Cheyne. Seattle Saint is another Sham horse and worth R1 imo, occasionally runs a good one. JPs Pince likely to be thereabouts and R2 has gone on Plumtree and R1 on Redsun, paticularly wary after the scratching of Mambo Italiano.
R2 Serene Response for me from Destiny Driven. Black Bellamy may be the right one to add for value.
R3 You Beauty looks to have a nice weight her and could be very competitive.
R4 Drill Sergeant and Forest Digger, whichever feels best on the day. Masai Warrior trifecta.
R5 Golden Dynasty from Bride;s Dowry. Silvan Spirit right there again.
R6 Saxony looks the right one but I am not so confident as to be taking the current price, well short enough for my liking. I may consequently side with an e/w on the Sham's Ultra Silver who had excuses last time when only a couple of lengths adrift, the draw is a concern though. Commanche Moon to be thereabouts.
R7 Principled, although some are fairly closely matched, is probably my strongest fancy on the card. Laurie's Dancer and Indian River may run closest. Emperor Augustus the potential value.
R8 At the prices, I really like the Sham's Al Cappuchino here. Last time out on the turf had both Captain Rei and King Olaf behind and is better off at the weights. If the ground remains soft then she also won her only run in "wet" conditions. CR, particularly, and KO are serious threats but CR is about a third of the price. Mainstream the possible value outsider and R1 on Bob rock.
R9 Fairly open. Sham's Family Fortune has a fair shout but I am going with the long time maiden and KZN raider Champagne Showers, who was originally a reserve. Has gone close a few times in KZN and if all well then likely to be a big runner imo. Dixie Flyer could be value at big odds. Kumiko likely to be competitive and could easily win by a few depending on how she comes on for her debut effort. R1s Penelope Crush, Promising and Sensuous Sally
Be(s)t of luck to all
