Vodacom July 2008 Winner
17 years 1 month ago
It is still early days but usually by this time many players start plotting the "July" winner.King's Gambit looks like the ideal candidate with it's ability to switch off early and then accelerate smartly.Reminds me of "Illustrador"and the Greyville circuit will suit.Any others that spring to mind?

Hi 'puffin'.....Dancer's Daughter will not enjoy the tight Greyville circuit and the short straight.Smart filly though.

Will say something in my daily post re: local ante-post betting.
We can punt on this years 1000/2000 gns Oaks and Derby in the UK for months, but we have no market for July/Computerform etc, Someone should take the initiative, why do we have to wait for final fields, and we are aware of the scratching rules, but give us a betting show and we can decide whether we want a punt?

The 3yo's are mediocre this year - as seen by a different one winning each big 3yo race.
Pocket Power will win/Dancers Daughter 2nd.
