UK Racing Saturday

plenty of meetings and a mix of codes for you guys that prefer the jumps or the Flat
Chepstow Saturday meetings signal the return of the proper jump season and the big guns roll out their ammo
Paul Nicholls has had all summer to get to know Dormello Mo and i`m expecting a big run 4/1 looks decent value
El bravo at Musselburgh likes the track and the trainer is flying, 8/1 big runner

R6 York Deepsand E/W. The favourite is a ridiculously short price in such a competitive race. Deepsand is in top form, won't mind the soft ground and should improve for the slight step up in distance. 14/1 is too big a price with four places being paid.
R7 York El Beau E/W. Another very competitive heat to close the card (and season) at York. El Beau will enjoy the give in the ground and looks as if he now needs this distance having mostly been campaigned over a mile. He should also get the strong pace he seems to need with two or three confirmed front runners in the race. The 12/1 generally available looks decent E/W value, given that four places are again being paid.

De Rigueur may go well in The Cesarewitch.According to his trainer, Marco Botti, this former German-raced stayer wants soft ground. Strange that one of his two runs over two miles was a win on good to firm, the other a neck second on aw at Kempton. As a son of Montjeu, and if the trainer is correct any rain will be a bonus, so the wet forecast will be a bonus.
This will be De Rigueur’s first attempt at beyond two miles, a trip for which his form suggests he may improve, and with Andrea Atzeni on board and stall 13 no hindrance, 25/1 looks good value.
Groovejet,also around the 25/1 mark.
Only had 11 runs, could be a lurker down the bottom of the Handicapp,Top lightweight jock
Franny Norton rides.
Played both ew,36 runners.I must be mad or still pissed.
