After Greyville this evening, I'm gonna need luck and some tomorrow

Joeys stable info
Pre-Race
Durbanville - 11 October 2014
BRUTAL FORCE:
His work has improved tenfold. He was working well before but now is really getting down to it. There is no reason he should not reproduce this on the race track and win.
CANYOUCANCAN:
She has settled nicely in the pens at home and provided she behaves on Saturday, she will have a good place chance. She does not have the best of draws so will just need some luck in the running. Her last run is best ignored and if things go her way, she will run a good race.
DISCO AL:
He will need the run as is not fully wound up for the season ahead. However, I still think he can run into the placings.
THE CONGLOMERATE:
He has a good jockey and a decent draw. His previous run has sharpened him up nicely and he will be right there and run a massive race.

You know your form is putrid when you tip a 6/10 shot (Asstar midweek) and it runs unplaced. Be very wary of these jottings (to steal a word, Englander, apologies mate). The good thing about being out of form, you make it easier for everyone else, because whatever you tip can't win and that's one horse less for everyone else to look at when studying, seriously  .
Anyways, here go's :-
R2) - Aliysa's Pride, I feel is well in here with the apprentice allowance. Having said that, the appie must set the pace, even from draw 6/7. If he allows Byleveld to set the pace on Vincente, then I feel he will get beat. Byleveld gave the appies a riding lessons on Shining Day two meetings back. The only way to make the favourite feel the weight, is to set a fairly fast pace.
R3) - Varlo. Reading above the Ramsden stable is fairly confident of a big run with Brutal Force, however for me there is no value at 8/10, this being his first time at Durbanville and going the distance. Admittedly it does look like Cormack's best winning chance on the day, not to often Cormack leaves Cape Town empty handed. Varlo appeared unlucky last time out when losing lengths at the start but still managed to run a very creditable second. If he jumps on terms, he should go close.
R4) - Waning Crescent - theoretically a winner/maiden without a penalty. I was on Indaba last time out when WC had the race taken away. It's very debatable whether Indaba would have won or run close because WC was really travelling well when hung in so badly. That was over the 1600m, today 200m shorter, if he can overcome the draw and sit handy, he may well run straight and give this field a galloping lesson.
Lastly, my thoughts on race 8, I posted on the wrong thread (Best Bets), no good thing, but hoping Castle can complete the hat trick.
Hopefully I can get some of my donations back today, play well.

No course form but on his run to King's World Do Be Snappy should be a shoe-in

I don't think he will be a Champion and would also not be taking that price - Weak field though and if he is to beat better then he must win in this type of field
