Is this a horseman or a Di.khead???????????

An unraced little filly walks too close(according to him!) on the way back from working, so he takes his riding crop and throws it at her. Doesn't just tell the appie to move over. It bounced off her and landed back at his feet. So nearly hit him(he deserved it and started having a go at me) but decided the fine I would get would not be worth it. What do you think?

Every story obviously has 2 sides..the filly in question was about to lash out and as he was up against the rail could quite easily have been kicked and seriously injured, the unraced filly in question had an appy up and was clearly getting the better of the rider, before any crop was thrown there was some very loud verbal exchanges to no avail, the actions taken resulted in neither horse rider or crop thrower being hurt in any way, which is a good result, had she lashed out and kick him the outcome would have been far more sinister, your past history with said person may well have clouded your judgement Craig , certainly appears to be a mountain out of a molehill scenario..all's well that ends well
Give everything but up!

I don't know what happened, who was involved, Titch, but over here only three words apply, "moer", "bliksem" and "donder"..... which is what I would do to anyone who throws anything at any of my horses !
The horse is innocent and I don't know in which manual (which some wannabe horse people do need), throwing a stick at a horse will help that horse.
Craig is to blame, only because he didn't moer, fonder and blissed the idiot. So, Craig is correct to get upset, IMHO.

Titch, he is lying through his teeth to you. Don't try and defend the indefensible as your credibility on this forum will take a dive and you do not deserve that. There were plenty people around besides me that saw it and Tony Rivalland/Terry Fripp were two of them. The filly walked past after work and he thought she might be a bit close and threw the stick at her. Tony went to him and told him he was very wrong and should apologise. If that filly had got a fright and got loose and injured, who would pay for that. Luckily she was tired. He told me that that I must pay for it. He could have said to the appie to move over if he was worried or just climbed through the post and rail fence. Easy. She had been walking towards him for at least 20m. Absolutely wrong and as said indefensible.

abacus, if Titch is defending him even when he is blatantly wrong, who would you guess it is?
