I think he should have left them in KZN - A 7 yr old Maiden making her sand debut over 1000m? and then trying to earn over 1450m from a draw 13 on sand debut with dead poor form is the epitome of optimism.

Not an easy race Hodson, again none of them are imo despite there being quite a few shorties on the card, but Nkomo is my choice for some value in the race.

An MR68 . Not an easy race at all. the 2 that I fancy has not run on sand before (Princess Tantan and Walking on Air.
At this stage , I would go for BAGS OF BOODLE. You got to load up in this race

Seattle Fairy could well win imo Colors but she hardly seems the most consistent sort and is sometimes not the best of starters. (Edited, said she had been backed and she has not, don't know where I got that impression lol)
But. if you like SF then imo you have to like something of Nkomo, on the line through Shamal. Assuming all was well with the latter in both runs, she was beaten 1l over 1600 by SF but beaten 6l further by Nkomo over this c/d who is only 0.5kg worse off with SF on the weight comparisons. Nkomo is drawn wide but in that same run, three runs back, she also won from a wide draw.
Also Bags Of Boodle, who is 2.5kg better off with SF on the run behind Go Dutch despite, when coming off a short break, finishing 4l infront of SF over c/d, though SF does have a big swing in the draws here.
Princess Tantan, no indicator that she will take to the surface, good combo and good draw but at 2s or less I would rather back something e/w than chance she will take to the sand.
Three or four others also in with a chance. Wouldn't put anyone off anything but for me, I'll chance Nkomo e/w with no great expectation.
