Marshalls betting displays

Morning guys, not been able to get the claims the last few days but have been using

MARSHALLS LIVE BETTING DISPLAY

I don`t think they report claims and it takes more than a 5 k claim for them to shorten one, they only shorten when they take money.

There is no betting on the site atm as they take the prices down at night and open again at 10 am.

I usually use the scrolling betting, just click the meeting you want and press scrolling races

I believe this has now been addressed. Please let me know if it is not,
as these displays are so easy for staff to put up. There should be no
excuse for the betting to NOT be displayed in any branch.

I have another problem with MWOS..........i know if i air my thoughts here, my friend will pick it up and hopefully make a change. And you are most welcome to call me any time for a better explanation.

When we get to the race time, and the race is nowhere near to being off, for whatever reason.....running late or a horse cast a shoe, jockey fell off....whatever reason...the race closes.....without fail! The punters cant get on cos the race is closed. MWOS is now losing a lot of money because of this. The queue is long trying to perhaps get a Bipot or any exotic on. Its really disappointing for me to be in this situation where i could have struck my bet cos the horses are still at the start and not even near to start the loading process.

Why cant someone close the race only when the horses jump? Is it that much of a big problem? Other bookies dont have issues like this??

This is me moaning, but it can turn out to be a win-win for the punter and Marshalls.

Thanks

Amazes me that the only section of the industry that acts on complaints are the bookies

Well done Greg

Peekay

This might have something to do with their software they use

I suspect exactly the same Bob. If theres enough time, the manager phones someone to reopen the race, but its not always the case.......if someone can very easily open the race, cant somebody not see that the race isnt off yet and then just reopen the race immediately instead of all the havoc at the branch? I feel for the managers at the branch where i frequent..........but sometimes its a hard pill to swallow when you cant get a Bipot or a PA on when the race isnt off yet.

I am realistic and it is a gripe, but somehow a process needs to be amended. And as mentioned before, it will be a win-win situation.

Cheers, that was my final word on this as i dont want to blow it out of proportion as its not the case. It would be nice to have this rectified
