Many years ago when I owned horses I got a call from a sharp groom asking me to put R500 on a horse for him. Like a mug I agreed and he proceeded to tip me a first timer. "Why must I back this horse," I asked. "You must back it cause it will win" came the reply.

I think it opened at around 7/1 and I jumped in. I gave further support at 10/1 and again at 20/1. It jumped out and headed straight to the front only to fall in a hole around the 600m mark. I never heard from him again !

Jokes aside some grooms are way better judges than the trainers they work for.

I liked Bellarina but it was scratched. So sticking with same formline of 29/05 ravashing rebel should be improving on it's only run and hopefully from the 2 draw with greyling up, at 50/1 that is a price you can't get hurt on

I like Breathless only because it was running on the last time over 1450 and i think 1600 will be better.
