What would you tell the trainer if you could?

Ok, I have been mulling this idea over for a while now. There are a few horses out there who I would love to be able to have some input over as I don't agree with what the trainers are doing.
My idea is this.....let's use this thread to give our opinions about a horses career, perhaps taking the blinkers off, perhaps running over a different distance, perhaps needing a rest, whatever.
Also, i would ask that you refrain from getting personal with the trainers and I would ask that you give a reason for why you say what you say. Give it some thought and perhaps we can feel like we are involved in a particular horses career.
(Bob, if you feel this will cause too many issues with out of control posts, please feel free to delete).

I'll start......

I feel that Mike Bass and his team is not campaigning Alaskan Maiden correctly. I feel that she is much better over 6 to 7 furlongs and she should be campaigned over such with the blinkers removed. Her sire (Captain Al) is more of a speed influence and Polar Charge threw them at their best over 7 to 8 furlongs. I feel Captain Lars is also best up to 8 furlongs even though he has won an 1800m (ridiculously slow pace).

So there you have it. Mr. Bass if you read this page, I have nothing but the utmost respect for you and your team but I would love to see AM campaigning over less ground :)

Thanks

Err, ahem......................mr.trainer but you have Jackadore running in a strong field today. Given her last two starts where there were excuses, lame, cripple etc by other parties, is it not possible she could be feeling her legs again today:S

Under the circumstances, a poor showing is guaranteed and anything above is a bonus. May be heading for mating soon.:P

A new day today Mike ! She could be a new proposition . in fact i would venture to say that she is best on the turf over 1200m (previously rated 108 on turf) . Imo for some reason she does not get the mile on turf . i expect her to finish close up today as this is her best trip on grass !

Err.....ahem, mr.trainer so do you think it is a good move to run your horse RED RAY in today's Golden Horse Sprint at Scottsville.

Now if we remember correctly at about this time last year, there was a big hoo- haa about this track being a " goat-track" and your horse RED RAY gave the Smirnoff Plate/Tsogo Sun a miss.

Will the racing manager be aggrieved and blame the track if the horse doesn't run a cracker, one wonders.:S

track is a disgrace, all high draw horses dont have a fair chance of winning judging by the 2 juvenile features.

What does that have anything to do with trainers and the way they handle horses?
