Blardy hell, a few mentions for ones that I think have a chance... Rheims is not without hope Zain imo and Indian Giant must have a chance Greg along with a few others but I do like Norgay. JM also like Belong To Me but always difficult to tell with de K's first timeers, nearly always supported , sometimes its on the button and sometimes its way off the mark. have also become increasingly concerned that there is more and more false betting going on, ie false money to confuse/distract punters... Tuscan was one yesterday, backed into 28/10 early and then drifted all the way to 6s.
R1 4 x 7 x 1 Belong to Me x Jock Siberstein x American Tiger - as mentioned above the de K newbie could win but there is value without him imo. The 4 and 7 stand out and the former to me appears to have the edge. The interesting one for me at a big price is American Tiger. Concern in not striding last twice but if that is a thing o the past then not without e/w hope. Well held by the other two on lines through Law Enforcer but if the problem has been eradicaed then likely to be much closer, was backed from 7s into 4s on debut and subsequent winners finished behind.
R2 3 x 7 x 1 Dayla x Lady Liberty x Bad Dream
R3 1 x 15 x 3 x 4 Wilhelmina x Supa Sami x Walking On Air x Attract The Crowd - WOA could have improvement and did finish infront of Wil in his penultimate run though both a fair way back. The interesting one for me is the reserve Supa Sami. On face value her form does not look great at all but on closer inspection her runs at the Vaal have imo been much better than elsewhere. Has a good draw in 3 and with Lerena up, well worth an idiot e/w for me.
R4 3 x 1 x 2 Bow n Arrow x Gold Bank x Wellesley (Son Of A P) - not convinced by any of these and Bow n Arrow looks a decent e/w to me at 10s. Hard for me to see anything else getting into the trifecta to be honest... until after the scratchings! Reserve Son Of A P is of some idiot interest to me. Has only been anything like distance once before and that was on the Bingo sand but was reported as staying on over 1800 that day and only beaten 1.25l. Quite possible he prefers the sand but would seem strange to keep running him on turf if that really is his preference... if he is ever to produce on the turf then today looks like an ideal opportunity to me, worth a small idiot e/w.
R5 5 x 9 x 6 x 7 Noble Star x Leeuloopjet x Judicial x Luala
R6 7 x 9 x 6 The Money Shot x Commodore Al x Supreme Lord - Master Rivas all the rage but worth opposing. Open looking race where Bob's Ganesh certainly should not be overlooked. But, the one I really like at a big price is Supreme Lord... drawn 1, the blinkers are off, 3rd run after a rest and in Gauteng, Fair form over 1800 in KZN but first time this distance. I see it has now been backed but was worth a go at 25s and still may be.
R7 2 x 3 x 9 Perigrine x Chestnut Charger x Don Vito
R8 8 x 5 x 2 Norgay x Rheims x Nigel Mansell (?? 4 Indian Giant 10 Zap The Stars)
R9 2 x 7 x 4 Arabian National x Jumbo x Ice Goddess
Its a tricky card and I won't be playing big but having been devoid recently of idiot selections I genuinely like, there are a couple I give proper chances to today, at least of a place (last, last, last yup I know how it goes!
)
Be(s)t of luck to all (tu)

Must agree Oscar. My best bet of the day and it has 3 winners in the formline from that last run (tu)

I agree but interestingly I see Seven Whispers is 14-18 / 1 in SA but a couple of bookies in the UK have shortened it in as far as 17/2...
