Cotrane ran 3rd in Grade 1 race in Zimbabwe
Why are the 10 points not showing on CTC website
Zimbabwe racing counts towards SA jockey title so why is this race not included
Be interesting to obtain clarification

What about VC win in Hong Kong

Ps I don't think Zim counts for the jockey title now

I know Zim doesn't count for jockey title anymore

Last time it counted was when Gavin Lerena was chasing the title

Haven't the pre selected races which make up the charity turf challenge always been the same, might be a good idea to add something different?

The first point on the entry conditions state, "The competition includes ALL races run around the country
from 3 May 2014 to 26 July 2014". Wouldn't imagine Zim would be included as it is not in this country same as jockey's title.

Hi Bob - response to enquiry, please insert the following:

Taken from the entry form it states the following:

HOW IT WORKS

The aim of the Charity Turf Challenge is to select a team of 10 horses you feel are most likely to score points during the period of the Champions Season. A list of all the Graded races is provided and whilst the emphasis remains on these feature races, ALL winners throughout the country will be eligible to earn points (see below for point scoring system).

The conditions of entry are:

1. The competition includes ALL races run around the country from 3 May 2014 to 26 July 2014 and includes numerous features races that will be scored on the following points-allocation basis

Regards

CTC Team

Grade 1 wins in Ireland and France dont count for championships in the UK, but the UK horses run there regularly
