What do you guys think of a points system similar to that of the Kentucky Derby. You have to win or place in bigger races in order to get into the race. Would that be fair to all or does it present its own problems?

If I understood Snaith then they wanted to campaign overseas after his win in the Cape Derby - Snaith persuaded the owners to let him have a Natal tilt so I doubt he'll be leaving now but perhaps I did not understand correctly.

At the moment its seem like a point system. If you win certain big races in the last 6 months prior to the July you guaranteed a run and other races you win you get preferential treatment in getting in. The only race i dnt think should qualify as a guaranteed run is the SA Fillies Classic. The current log could see drastic changes if the winners of Daily News, Woolavington, Gold Circle Challenge are not on the log at the moment as they are guaranteed a run. Also winners of the Cup Trial, Greyville 1900 and Jubilee Handicap gets first option to run. I foresee lots of changes come July Day from this log.

Seems like the conditions of the Met suit him better...he had no penalties for graded races...on pure exposed form from Met run, he seems well in against others and price tempting...reminds me of Red Badge that I twice took to place in July...same stable and connections too...

top 20 but only 16 runners final field will i be correct in this assumption? But on a serious matter with the track now narrowed this Greyville track is not looking good for racing..the superstars gonna win because they special but many horses gonna labour and not quicken...results will speak for themselves in coming weeks...

Anton on HFF or Yorker. Mr Brugman calls da the shots.
What about Rio Carnival win a feature and gets into the July and everyone knows Anton has a fondness for RC.
HILL FIFTY FOUR start to finish n AM will be aboard. That's for me.

Even though he's just out of the top twenty I still make run for it a huge runner,i heard he will be ready for the july and it putting up extremly good work at clairwood. If he gets in which I'm sure snaith will make sure of he will have a handy weight and is sure to run a super race in the big one again.
