To me yesterday had nothing to do about rules but useless bunch behind the pens.

the small % of the pick six i was running was not gonna make a big difference to my betting account.

to the owner of the horse hope its ok and comes back stronger and not completely mental from this experience "fort beluga"

To be fair, I think the trainers of those runners that acted up should take some of the blame as well - it is not the starter's (or his assistant's) fault that a horse rears up in the pens - unfortunately this is part of racing and we are dealing with animals who can be unpredictable at the best of times.

The time wasted on getting in the number14 horse was the reason why the fav flipped in the pens and the other horse bolted att the start. The 14 horse was NEVER EVERgna load, it gave the jocka torrid time down to the start, hitting the rails and everything and was nt in any mood to be cooped up in the pens. Imo poor judgementt
