TAB’s many online players should find transacting with the online betting site - www.tabonline.co.za - much quicker from this weekend.
TAB’s online horseracing, soccer and rugby customers have been frustrated by the slowness of the site, especially over weekends, for several weeks, but an upgrade of the site’s servers is expected to be completed by Friday this week and that should translate into much quicker response times.
“According to our IT department the slowness of the site recently has been due to a sudden increase in traffic that has stretched the existing servers to the limit,” said TAB chief Vee Moodley. “I can only apologise to all our online customers for the inconvenience and simultaneously assure them that we have been working behind the scenes to improve the site’s performance as quickly as possible.”

They need competition!

................this has been getting worse for a few years....................no monitoring would be my guess so "sudden realisation " sounds a lot more likely.
Anyway ,if it works,that will be great!

.....that betting site new format is many a step backwards.....may be simple to use but imo not that gr8 like the old format....suppose they gotta simplify it to accommodate the many bets types and venues.....I hate change.... old dog new tricks thing.... maybe I change to something else too.....
