Sorry guys which paper? The computaform? (On their last run against each other) ZE KAISER was 7 kg's lighter (KOP 61kgs and ZK 54kgs) the day he beat KOP. KING OF PAIN actually 3 kg's better off on their last run for a 1 length beating plus KOP drawn 1 PLUS gets Blinkers (Check his earlier form with Blinkers), no race IMO.
Taking a YANKEE with ANZAC (Race 3) ALASCAN MAIDEN (Race 5) KING OF PAIN (Race 7) and SOUK (Race
, ATC approx 80/1. btw sorry for all the edits... Lot's of spelling errors. LOL.

If I may put in my 2 cents worth, I agree with Winning Post, on paper KOP should finish ahead of Ze Kaiser. The problem I have, both horses tend to flatter to deceive. Both have shown so much promise and when you see a race they should trot up in and win, they find something to beat them. I don't believe that trend will change today. Best of luck to both camps, I'll take my chances elsewhere.

Castlethorpe won like a 1/10 shot last time out ..... problem with Cape racing is you never know how the race is going to be run and who gets shafted around the bends....

Quite correct bayern, almost get the feeling he enjoys running 2nd. He cracks a decent draw at times and still they insist running him from 6 - 8 lengths off the pace. Perhaps if he is ridden a little more handy he'll give himself a chance in the straight. Bookmakers have taken to the fact that he always find something to beat him and are offering very generous odds @ 15/10. CASTLETHORPE on best form could run a place , just don't believe he can do the 1600m in under 100 seconds in the good going and that is a prerequisite here. Looked through this race 100 times now and it's so hard to see him get beat cause we only have the ZE KAISER formline to work with which has KOP about 2,50 lengths in front of ZE KAIZER. Will give him a chance today as I've never backed him before.

Very well weighted, gotta like his chances and as Englander mentioned earlier NIGHT TRIP should be thereabouts as well if working on the CASTLETHORPE formline. Only problem I have is KOP has flattened CASTLETHORPE on every occasion. TRIBAL DANCE could be the value here if anythings gonna beat the top weight, he's been gelded now and rested a very long time but has a habit of winning after a rest, ran 4.50 lengths behind VARIETY CLUB and could win this race in his sleep if fit and well, 20/1 is great value and is the only likely horse to beat KOP. 2 horses for me Favorite and Complete outsider, LOL.

Not because Gary Lenton has mentioned Night Trip on the show a few minutes ago, I think there's good value in Night Trip. It should run a lot closer to both Ze Kaiser and Castlethorpe at the weight turnarounds, so if you consider Castlethorpe is 33/10 and NT is 8/1, I know wherei'd put my money. The horse to beat is definitely KOP, but, can he give NT 7.0kgs and a beating? Guess I'll know at about 16.10

Nice bet bayern. Just wondering though... you mention above KOP giving NIGHT TRIP 7 kg's? If you look at the last time they met on the 21st December 2013 (KOP 61 kg's and NT 54 kg's) they actually meet today at level weight so theoretically (I know horses don't always run to form) NIGHT TRIP still has a length to find on KOP and needs find even more on his best form to win, NIGHT TRIP should have ZE KAISER stone cold though.
