Since that opp Devine Jet has never really been the same....cracking 3 year old...sad actually as I have always followed this one closely.

I have never made a sprinter a banker in my life,not sure if Divine Jet has ever been over rated?

His current MR is 107- I think that he is quite capable of running to that rating. However, he has to give Franny 4kg under the conditions of this race. She has run well below best all 3 runs in CT, but if she regains her best form can win. The lurker is Muscatt. He gets 7kg from Divine Jet, (would be 9.5kg in a handicap) but the Bass stable have said they want to go for the Cape Flying Championship, where he would meet DJ at levels. If Muscatt is a serious candidate for a Gr 1 sprint, then he has to win here at these weights.
Divine Jet has talent, but he is a 5yo entire which has only had 10 runs because he has problems. Not a banker.

I think it is a tough race (like most of the races on the day) - strictly on their last runs, Dressed In Cotton could finish in front of Muscatt, and Bobby James seems to hold DIC - Franny has not reproduced her 3yr old form yet in Cape Town, so I'm not sold on her either - Bobby James the right one for me
