Soodum not aggro just get upset when people run the game down that I am very passionate about , only try to do good for the game .
Worst words for me to hear is horses called "soup meat" ,horses have given us a tremendous living
Soodum you can't keep under wraps, I don't understand why our horses prices are so good eg Two gun 5/1,Organic wine 20/1to 8/1 ,Greystone 9/1 to 7/2 Blow me a kiss 9/2 to 2/1 can still name more lLite approval ,Olivian that's how we stay in the game
Thor in one ear and out the other .

How can they keep a horse under 'wraps' when they always comment on their runners chances

Its amazing this game, the more open a trainer is about their horses the better the prices in general. Hats off to the Shams' and their open approach to ABC. Thanks. I for one build up a personal bond, if not directly, with clanners and their tips. Use, don't use your choice. If they do well I feel we all do well, but does that really happen NO. Why, because we all have a point of view about punting a horse and our personal fancies. You know what ? Stats don't lie. I think personally to buy a horse on one of these sales would only be for breeding purposes. A cheap way of buying a fairly well breed mare. Remember a change of stable can make a huge difference to a horse eg. MDK is hard on his horses and maybe he/she is not up to that method of training, but excels with less strenuous training. How often does this happen ? (change of stable) So for me there is a gap in the big pie for all. Shams' are lying where on the log with everyone's ex "soup meat" ? It works for them ! Enough said !!

Jean Hemming was a trainer that really got the most out of her horses - If I recall correctly she trained CARDINAL FURY which was later bought by Brian Wiid(not sure if it was bought by owners or for himself) - This chuckout ended up winning the Summer Cup if I recall correctly so sometimes you can do well with a change of environment though obviously the buyer must know what they are doing
