yip yaap since you mentioned my name on the forum are you also wiling to post your name so that I at least know who are making the accusations against me?

I am willing for the benefit of transparency to draw up a statement explaining my side of the story. if you are interested to hear it.

all I can say that I was/still am so passionate about the game that I have put in millions of rands, I guess round about 6/7 mil, can be higher in the game and because of events that I had absolutely no control over lost it all, and i can assure you bad management was not the main reason.

James did you appeal your disqualification? If not how are you able to be involved in owning horses again?

Nope not that i can remember

In the past years I was involved in various horses notably been a 50% shareholder in E-Fuel with the late Andre Kirsten when the horse won the Jubilee Handicap and ran 4th in the Emerald Cup.
I also purchased the horse Golden Rival for R8000, a one time winner at the time, on a sale and sent it to Bertie van der Merwe in Bloemfontein. The horse retired at the age of twelve winning its last race as a 11 year old. While still being able to race it won 12 races from 1000m -2000m including the TAB OFS Sprint, the biggest race over a sprint in Bloemfontein and contested by good horses from JHB, also won and placed in the Sailor Malan handicap in Kimberley.
also purchased the unraced Smart Charm (by Strike Smartly) on a sale in PE and the horse won its first race over 1600m and showed a lot of promise and was entered in the EP Derby against Lizard’s Desire, who won the race and went on to lose by a short head in the Dubai Cup against the best in the world, but unfortunately the horse injured its knee and after 2 unsuccessful operation’s the horse was retired.
also purchased President Elect on the yearling sale, the horse is now an eight time winner and still racing and earning at the age of 8 years.
also purchased Russian Artist a filly that ended her career as a 5 time winner.
also bought and named a horse as a weanling The Money is Yours who won 1 race in SA and 4 races in Mauritius.
The horse Ay Tee Em, that was also known as the running ATM, was also bought by me on a dispersal sale, as it earned every time it ran He won one race in SA and was placed numerous times and also won 3 races in Mauritius.
Other horses that I purchased, and which won first time out after their purchase, includes Friston, Parsons Lad and Crystal Pride.
I had also been involved in the purchase and racing of the following horses, most of them winners or multiple winners:-
Rio Motola, purchased for R20 000, won a race at the Vaal one day with Figi up, pulled of a coup winning R200 000 on the day, Va Voom, Jule of the Night, Sesas le Meur, Company Man, Fabulous Treasure, Gold Series, Perfect Time, Pretoria, Rustenburg, Bloemfontein, Shining Press, Usual Winner (BRZ) Gentle Star (Brz) Winter Base, Softly Breezing, Widows Peak, Wizard of Oz. and various others.

Due to the circumstances off my case I was not warned off, my colours were withdrawn but the NHA said I can reapply for colours at any time in the future.
So what is your name Yip Yaap? are you scared to mention your name?

Let me say running a syndicate is not easy regards admin and various views, after a bumpy start we are blessed with some really decent members who take the highs and lows like gentlemen.
I prefer to make all our payments as soon as we receive a bill from the trainers and keep it as professional as possible and non profit making from an admin angle

Good luck

Otto I'm sorry but I don't see that you are able to own any horses according to this article unless you have appealed that ruling - If you have when was that published?

It's not looking good for your idea James/Otto...
Maybe get someone else to front it for you, there's nothing worse to read then the mistreatment of animals..
With your background and the amount of guys on here who are so knowledgable about the racing industry I think
you have a better chance of finding a Scotsman wearing an England Shirt buying a round of drinks..
