Woodruff stable must be chuffed - 4 runners and they draw 2,3,6 and 7
Some dead wood in there imo (Astro News, Knock on Wood, Smanjemanje, Gold Onyx, Cherry on the Cake, Gothic) imo the top weights have a tough task, but a competitive field (it is a handicap after all) - haven't seen any betting yet ?

looks like another glorified A division handicap for jhb horses.looking back at last season's feature race results with wagner winning, whom i gave no chance to, iv come to the conclusion that any horse can win this race.my strategy is to look at 5 or 6 horses with the least chance of winning and pick my selection from those horses.it would be a bonus if 1 of said 6 no hopers comes from the s tarry stable because he also seems to have the magic touch in feature races in jhb and kzn.i will scratch all horses favoured in the betting because if history repeats then those fancied horses have absolutely no chance of winning.
bookies must already be licking their lips for all the money they will be making from punters in this feature race because all the main feature races were won by huge outsiders last season like wagner, martial eagle, heavy metal and heavy metal.lol.good luck to all on finding the winner and lets hope im wrong and the punters can come out of this race smiling for a change.

RELEASED BY: Phumelela Gaming and Leisure Limited
Whistle Stop and Willow Magic, first and second in the Graham Beck Stakes,
will clash again in the Grade 2 Investec Dingaans over 1600m at Turffontein
on Saturday 30 November.
The Dingaans is one of six supporting features for the R2-million Sansui
Summer Cup (Grade 1) to be run over 2000m. The others are the KIC Merchants
over 1160m, the Absa Rewards Ip Tombe Challenge over 1600m – both Grade 2
events – the Gauteng Fillies Mile, the Racing Association Handicap over
3200m and the Sansui Magnolia Handicap over 1160m – all Grade 3 events.
The Dingaans always attracts some of the top three-year-olds and this year
is no different. Whistle Stop emerged as a future star when getting up
close home to run down Willow Magic by 0.50 lengths over 1400m. He will be
better suited to the extra 200m and is drawn No 7 while Willow Magic jumps
from No 1 barrier.
However, Sean Tarry’s charge is 4.5kg better off and will have the services
of champion jockey Piere Strydom.
Like Whistle Stop, Umgiyo is trained by Mike de Kock and is rated one point
better than his stable mate. He failed off a bad draw in the Emperors
Palace Ready To Run Cup and De Kock admitted he had erred by fitting
blinkers on Umgiyo. This time this beautifully proportioned colt is drawn
No 3 and will have Bernard Fayd’Herbe up.
Copper Parade pulled off a surprise victory in the Listed Golden Loom
Handicap over 1000m at this track and the Port Elizabeth-based runner
returns to contest the Merchants. The opposition is a lot stronger time and
Yvette Bremner’s charge will have to give weight to all but Deliver The
Power and Welwitschia.
Do You Remember was pulled out of a race at Turffontein last week but the
Grade 1 Woolavington 2000 winner swill make an appearance in the Ipi Tombe
Stakes. She was due to meet Espumanti on that occasion and the clash that
didn’t happen is set to take place this time.
However, on this occasion Espumanti will have had that extra run, will
receive 2.5kg from the Geoff Woodruff-trained runner, and will jump from
barrier No 1.
