Going out shortly, so I'll post now.
A horse I'm really keen on is Golden Crystal (again). He won really well last time and does not appear too badly in at the weights here. Admittedly he has never gone this far before, but why would the stable take the chance if they didn't believe he would stay the distance? What's in he's favour, he is drawn in pole position and these long distance races are seldom run at break-neck speed, so hopefully he's stamina won't be tested from the get-go.
The other I fancy is Karnilla. Whilst the stable jockey hasn't taken the ride, Neisius is a very adequate replacement. There is a 6.0kg swing with London Theatre for a 4.80 length beaten, which I'm hoping will reverse the placing. It's hard to gauge the merit of Davyana's maiden win, without wanting to offend anyone, she beat a weak field and was expected to win that day. I'll take my chances that Karnilla will finish ahead of the stable companion.
Digressing a bit, I see CNC and I have selected the same 8 for tomorrow's compo, hope it's a case of great minds .......
Break a leg Clanners.

Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

Some light rain overnight and expected to continue through the day. Moderate tailwind forecast. Will be ok to race as course had dried out well and going should be good.
Best bet Boy from Brazil
Last 2 races some nice 3 yo's worth watching
