Not sure what the invitational criteria is, but it's MR is fairly high, let's just say I'm hoping it makes the final field.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

all i can say is compliments to candice dawson she has to be one of the best horsewomen in south africa...her stats bear testimony to her incredible ability with the stock she gets to train in gauteng...if i was a big wealthy owner i would employ her as a private trainer

I concur - very good results especially on the sand (tu)

Re Yorker, I think he will get in - if the stable elects to run him - I think the talk was yesterday that he is best around 1600 / 1800 and 'might get 2000' - I have taken the 33/1 before yesterday, but imo it was a slightly disappointing effort - I'm much happier with the 66/1 I got on Master Sabina; Tigers Retreat would have been a big runner yesterday imo - however not sure he will get the 2000 :S

Wyllie Hall - not sure what games they are playing, but supported in the betting for the previous run - then drifted off the boards yesterday

Will be interesting to see what effect yesterday's result have on the weights for the Cup :S

If Yorker doesn't get in then there must be serious questions asked. He beat Wylie Hall, Cherry on the Top as well as plenty of other Summer Cup runners in the Top 20 currently. I thought it was a great rum often a break and will come on from that run. He will be a big runner if making the final field especially if Marcus takes the ride. Very interested to see the new log if they produce one. ;)

Is not entered. Hopefully his run should push him ahead of the likes of Wagner.

There are two medium sized owners from the cape that have already pledged to support her and from what I've heard she will be going on her own! Maybe if candice reads the forum she can confirm if its a rumour or not!
