So all this was then is storm in a tea cup.
Rules were broken by Trainers so what Disciplinary measures were taken against them. Or will also be swept under the carpet thus insinuating that Rules/Regs/Laws are there to only be IMPLEMEMTED when it suits the Powers that be. Fark are we not making a Lawless society.

Not sure it was swept under the carpet, it was a court case and the outcome was that the trainer withdrew the racist claim against Phumelela and will leave and I think a fine was paid?

It was the operator that was involved and not NHRA and not racing rules that were broken........It was simply a landlord enforcing the contract of lease conditions......lease says no sub letting......sub letter says others have done it so why pick on me......he goes to court because the operator refuses to allow horses to be nominated in the jurisdiction until he leaves......court says sub letter must go but with sufficient notice......case closed......

@Muhtiman:
'It was simply a landlord enforcing the contract of lease conditions....'
The Minister is to be appraised about this situation where one party dictates...albeit legally!
Expect questions as the Minister personally wants to hear from the 'other' side at a meeting next month!

I know this topic is pretty quiet but I can't believe how childish Phum are being.
So kom has been evicted as of the 15 th november, which is understandable because of the high demand for the boxes at randtjies and because of the pressure being put on, which is obviously overwhelming for Phum.
So a guy with a small string who has done frikken well up on the highveld, with the average horses Candice' is looking after. He contributes to both pools and stakes in the higher percentage as I already stated in my previous post.
Can the clever Trevor's at Phum and the "big bosses" not see racing is in trouble in SA????!!!!? Now that kom has made a plan and organized the finances to rent Wally's place from his sisters, who are more than willing to let it happen. ( it was a yard built for race horses) Phum are now just getting personal either with kom or with Candice, because how can you not allow kom to have horses on the property but not use the randtjies track even at a price. This is getting ridiculous now and quite frankly childish, Anderson needs to grow a pair and deal with whoever is putting pressure on, because KOM and his string in the highveld and his huge Indian following can only be good for SA racing on the whole. Sharon Patterson can train ( not ever horses in racing) at randtjies, and so can a small trainer like Juergen train at randtjies too. This property was built before Phum brought in these obscured rules "so recently" that trainers outside the randtjies establishment itself may no longer use the tracks, it's just a sick coincidence that those rules appear now.
Phum at no point have tried to come to amicable agreement wit KoM, their best was sending a single female to train on a private holding, near the vaal. This is actually crazy and everyone stands by watching as silly little men with big titles are not trying their utmost to help this wonderful game we love and adore.
Kom is no detriment to the game but only a positive influence, especially the yard candice is running in jhb.
I think what I am trying to get at is, can we as the public and raing lovers, lovers of the game, not encourage a positive change.

The consent use is that outside stables may use the tracks at Randjesfontein and trainers may use the bridle paths. I was party to writing the title deeds and the consent use so can certainly say P cannot legally stop any trainer at outside stables using the tracks.
