mDont know, Hibs, but it wouldnt surprise me. Its election time, SARS have jumped in via TV ads about billions to be spent on housing, same old promises etc. Julius has been neutered, as he would have weakened the vote considerably and so why not attack Racing..... and then forget about it again, after elections.....?

If the ANC does get involved Kom will get even more boxes than he had, if they could help us take groom school teacher and transform him into a trainer anything is possible!

Alll Bennet wanted was a license but ended up getting horses with fees being paid every month, a brand new 4x4 , a drivers license and a house in summerveld!

Kom if you read this forum give it your best shot and with Roy Moodley and the ANC behind you im
Sure you will come up tops!

Give theses ous soothlading

@BC et al:

My observation....and question:

If Kom had been training for Jooste/van Niekerk, would the scenario been different?

BTW, to date, I have noted noticed Jooste, van Niekerk, Kantor, Mrs O, and other of these big owners engaging black jockeys, but none giving their horses to any of the handful of black trainers?

Must be a bloody useless bunch of black trainers who probably have a 'mentor', get fees paid every month, drive 4x4's....?

To cap it all, there was so much of comment about 'transformation' on this site!

@Ben-Hur:

'transformation is the biggest farking joke'

So true....it should be chucked out with the water pronto!

Whites use Africans to justify transformation (Indians and Coloureds don't matter except where expedient like in WCape and KZN where only the 'good boys' are accepted!)

Whilst Africans see transformation as an entitlement.... and f... the rest!

Pukkah racists on both sides yet they scream blue murder when you respond!

@Ben-Hur:

not playing the race card, an honest observation!.

you must read the conditions for the Gold Circle licence renewal and how GC sucks up to transformation...of Africans!

In fact, I have come to a stage where I give a damn about transformation (nothing short of entitlement, enrichment and a travesty).

Shouldn't have even commented.
