Even if you fancied this horse strongly today, just maybe, unexpected comments released early on TT could have made you go for the market rival and you lost your loot.(td)

Maybe Silence IS Golden after all.:S

I repeated what was said on the thread and I don't feel bad about it. Assuming the guy was honest (and that Titch is correct regarding the R50 wager) then all is well. The way the horse was backed etc one could have expected him to win easily, not by a nostril hair tiring badly. I am all for owners being honest etc and we then choose to listen or not. Much rather that than a trainer/owner coming on after the event beaming away saying they fancied a horse strongly and had their R1k on at 16/1 but made no attempt to tell the general public. Those are the types that simply don't realise, or care I assume, that they are taking our money, not bookmaker money. It is they that really get on my nerves and I, with my betting hat on, see them little more than thieves and wish to wipe the smug look from their faces with Magi's bat :?

You rather don't say anything, then tell the public that its not stable money, when the owner comes on TV and says we got 6/1 yesterday, so you guys got your price ,so what's the problem letting the public know that the horse is fancied ,its bad for racing when you bull shit the public, you rather say nothing.well I don't expect anything better from some of those owners.good luck to you all.

But lads, I think we all missing the point.. The owner was 100 correct in saying the horse is no good thing and it truely obliged as it just snuck in..money came 4 it and he said it wasn't stable..even if. He punted R500 don't matter as stable money was not the one that made it shorten..as well we need to give ppl the benefit of the doubt as if the horse lost by a nostril we all wouldve said thank goodness..I was going to have a small wager on Bold Var, but decided not to, even though BV won, I was over joyed I didn't. Have a punt as listening 2 commentry, I might. Have shat. Myself at work.lol

An ex Clanner was qouted by name on Telly Track that it was not stable money. Then the Owner is interviewed and states that the day before the Race he got 6/1. Now Mr R B how tne fcuk do now explain this, or is the OWNER not part of the stable. Who is bullsh----g who.

Bull S--T baffles Brains. This type of TRANSPARENCY is making the perception that Horse Racing is crooked IMPOSSIBLE to defend.

Again I say here I come LOTTO.
