12 years 1 month ago
Saturday, May 4 has been declared a national day of mourning by the government, after the terrible accident that caused the death of ten of our compatriots, the Mauritius Turf Club (MTC) has decided to postpone the eighth day of racing scheduled for tomorrow. After contact with the authorities, this 8th day will be held Sunday, May 5
Reacting to the government's decision, Gilbert Merven, the President of the MTC, has described as wise and took the opportunity to express his sympathies and those of the Club to families afflicted by this misfortune.
