Craig i treid calling. I also only post 10% of what i know. Please take my call, it will take 5 minutes and ill show you real stats and figures on how a trainer went from being a 2 % winner to a 13% winner in 2 years

this was done by 3 people telling him what to do
i was the one helping him with nominations.

Craig you believe 90 % is horse 10% trainer then my friend you got a lot to learn.

i am not going to mention names but do you think horses change stables improve because the 90 % story.

The other day some horse changed hands and went to a trainer named Little, was battling maiden with Maroun Bradley and won by 8 lengths so it was nothing to do with new trainer.

Mike de kock took horses from Bass and O brian and turned them into champs

Royal Delta maiden to group 1
and ballymore throw out.
its just luck i assume.

The late Buddy Maroun was a master of taking ''has beens'' from Kzn and turning them into top class sprinters....;)

A good example is Dunford who was very average with Rivalland but won the July for Bass

Just for the record...Rivalland just won with a first timer.. 20/1 not shabby.... BUT I am not saying anything... is just coincidental.

That was a great coup Buddy Maroun first run with Al Nitak 25-1 into 9/2 he told me it cant lose i asked him what he smoking.

Herman Browne said horse best track horse Duncan Howes put LLoyd on went distance thought it was a good thing

Buddy went 1000 meters and made horse a superstar.

would Al Nitak ever have done the same at Herman Browe or after Duncan Howels

No Craig is correct it was luck 90 % the horse just 10% trainer.

Craig if you believe that you will be one of the bread and butter trainers.

Mike De Kock one day said to me all Natal trainers are clueless baring David Payne and Dennis Drier.

He was not far off

That was around 1993 since then the odd one has improved.

NB Duncan H was assistant to David Payne.

This is a cheap shot at Natal trainers. Common don't quote MDK, speak your own thoughts. Nelson Mandela told me one day that I could do what whatever i want except name drop!

My Bad - guess my matric does not count for much as I didn't bother to complete reading the sentence :D the Uni of Life...

In the end the horse won - and I'm sure Mentor, Laff and Soma are all happy with the result!!!
